Anti-Climb Fence

Fence systems designed to prevent scaling. Small mesh openings eliminate hand and foot holds. The most common type is 358 welded mesh — 3" x 0.5" aperture, too narrow for fingers or toes. Combined with height and razor wire for maximum deterrence.

A welded wire panel with 3" x 0.5" openings and 8-gauge wire. The numbers 3-5-8 refer to those dimensions. It's the global standard for high-security perimeters — used at prisons, military bases, airports, and data centers.

Minimum 8 feet for most security applications. Military and correctional facilities specify 10–12 feet plus razor wire. Data centers commonly use 8-foot 358 mesh with a 1-foot razor extension. Check local codes before specifying.
